Valuables looted from Jews in northern Italy have been discovered in eastles perched on cliffs in the Adige Valley, the Manchester Cuardian reports today.

It says that the looting was done under the cloak of three Nazi organizations the Schwendt Organization run by Sturmbannfuehrer Schwendt von Wehrig the "Safra," under Field Marshal von Kesserling; and the "Organization to Combat the Italian Black-Market."

In one hideout, a Guardian correspondent reports, were found 220,000 yards of silk and hundreds of Persian rugs. Another cache contained 500,000 pairs of those, underwear and dresses.
