There are now 25,000 Jews in Sofia, almost equalling the pre-war Jewish population of this city. These figures were disclosed at a meeting Are marking the second anniversary of the expulsion of all Jews from the capital by the former pro-German government.

At meetings in the capital and throughout the country, speakers condemned the persecution of the Jews and paid tribute to the resistance by large sections of the falgarian people which prevented the planned deportation of all Jews in the country to Foland.
