The committee voted to re-assemble within a fortnight for the purpose of for slating its attitude on the question of partition, and, at the same time, adopted a resolution pledging the rights of Arabs in a Jewish state. All communities residing rithin such a state, it said, will enjoy full autonomy in managing their religious, educational, cultural and municipal institutions.

The Arab language and schools will enjoy the protection of the state, and loal administration will be established in all towns and villages, the resolution adted, and an equal standard of living for all residents will be sought.
