Religious leaders of all denominations today appealed to ministers, priests and rabbis throughout Massachusetts urging action for the passage of a fair employment law.
Stressing that the prospect of such legislation has “aroused tremendous hope among all racial and religious minorities,” 25 Catholic, Protestant and Jewish clergyment sent a letter to all church leaders asking them to press for action on an anti-discrimination bill now before the state legislature.
