The first Jewish military cemetery in Canada was consecrated here this week at an impressive ceremony witnessed by many Dominion military leaders and Jewish veterans of both world wars.

The cemetery is part of the “Field of Honour” located in Points Claire, a suburb of Montreal. The religious ceremonies were performed by Flt. Lt. Julius Chaplain of the Royal Canadian Air Force. M. H. Herscovitch, president of the Brigadier Frederick Kisch Branch Canadian Legion, unveiled the monument.
