The first meeting of the reconstituted Jewish community of Munich was held today in the Jewish Home for the Aged in that city, the Munich radio reports.

The broadcast said that only 100 persons attended the meeting, although the pre-war Jewish population of Munich exceeded 12,000. The community council established at the meeting pledged that it will defend the interests of all Jews.
