Jewish Brigade Units Enter Germany; Are Part of British Occupational Forces

Units of the Jewish Brigade entered German territory and passed Heidelberg and Baden en route to the British occupation zone, the Luxemburg radio reported today.

The French Telegraph Agency today reported from Cairo that Egyptian official circles are very pessimistic over the attitude of the British Labor Government towards the Arab claims on Palestine. Al-Misri, one of the leading Egyptian newspapers, is qucted by the French agency as revealing that Syrian and Lebanese journalists now visiting London are “greatly disappointed” after talks on Palestine’s future with important persons in England.
