Decimation of Jews in Holland Seen During Rosh Hashonah Synagogue Services

Rosh Lashonah services held in synagogues throughout Holland for the first time since the liberation of the country from the Germans presented a gloomy picture of Jewish survival in the Netherlands. In the Hague, where 17,000 Jews lived before the war, only 1,500 survived to attend the New Year services.
