Peru Grants Jewish Community Permission to Open Its Own School

The Peruvian Government has granted the Jewish community here permission to open a Jewish school, the first in Peru, it was learned today.

The government’s decision was made known by Dr. Geroge Basadre, Minister of Public Instruction, when he received a Jewish delegation headed by Walter Neissor, president of the central Jewish organization. Dr. Basadre expressed great interest in the lama for the new school.
