A resolution declaring “there is no disunity among our people concerning the fundamental demands of the Jewish Agency for Palestine, with which we agree completely,” has been cabled to British Foreign Minister Bevin by the Comite Central Israelite del Uruguay, on behalf of an assembly of delegates from all the Jewish organizations in the country.

The resolution demanded the abolition of the White Paper, immigration into Palestine of European Jews and the fulfilment of the promise of the Balfour Declaration.
