First Jewish Book Since War Published in Poland; Third Yiddish Newspaper Makes Appearance

The first Jewish book published in Poland since the ouster of the Nazis came off the press today. It is a volume of poems in Yiddish by a young poet M. Man, entitled “Di Shtilkeit Mont” (“Silence Demands”).

Simultaneously, a third Yiddish newspaper made its appearance today in Poland. Untitled the Arbeiter Zeitung, it is the organ of the Left Poale Zion party.
