A large store of clothing and linen belonging to Jews executed in Nazi death camps has been found near the town of Kossalin, in the section of Germany recently ceded to Poland, it was announced here. The clothing, which was stripped from Polish and Hungarian Jews, contained a great many personal papers and photographs, which are being classified by the information department of the Lodz district government.
The Jewish religious community council reports that it has discovered 37,000 religious books and 150 Holy Scrolls hidden in the section of Lodz which formerly housed the ghetto.
