A Jewish relief mission, composed of eight medical officers, has left for Greece, it was announced here today. After their work is completed in that country they will proceed to Poland and later to Germany.
The mission was originally organized to function among the Jews of Shanghai, but UNRRA, claiming that there was not as great a need in China as in Europe, refused to pay transportation and maintenance costs, unless the medical group went to Europe.
