A strong force of Palestine police reinforced troops and equipped with radio detection apparatus today threw a dragnet around the center of the city in an unsuccessful hunt for the Haganah’s “Voice of Israel” underground radio transmitter. The station was heard tonight.

Several weeks ago, police seized a small “illegal” transmitter on the roof of house in Jerusalem and arrested several people including a young woman announcer.
