More than 20,000 of the 27,000 Jewish survivors in Belgium have signed a petition urging the Anglo-American inquiry committee to recommend free Jewish immigration to Palestine, it was revealed here today at a press conference arranged by the Zionist Organization of Belgium, which launched the petition campaign last month.
It was also reported at the conference that 4,000 Jews have registered with the Palestine Office in Belgium for emigration to Palestine.
