Jews in Poland may be given arms by the Government to protect themselves against the continued anti-Jewish terror in the country, the London Jewish Chronicle reports today, adding that some type of Jewish self-defense organization will soon be formed as a result of discussions in Warsaw between Jewish leaders and members of the Polish Cabinet.
The Jewish Chronicle also reports that an anti-Semitic outburst took place in the municipal theatre in Flensburg, in the British zone in Germany, during a performance of George Bernard Shaw’s “St. Joan.” The audience applauded stormily when one of the characters, a monk, said that if it were up to him, all the Jews in Christendom would be burned.
