Military authorities announced the signing of contracts yesterday with local construction firms for the building of huge camps in the vicinity of Gaza. Wages on these projects will amount to $4,000,000. At the same time, it is revealed that conversion of Haifa into the greatest Mediterranean naval base is almost completed and that naval supplies will be moved from Alexandria to Haifa about May 1. Rader stations on Mt. Garisim and at other localities are nearly finished.
