Late tonight a mysterious caller phoned newspaperman in Jerusalem and informed them that two of the three kidnapped British officers held by the Irgun Zvai Leumi had been released.
No official confirmation could be obtained immediately.
Four of the five officers kidnapped early last week were released yesterday.
