Crowded protest meetings here and in other large cities of Sweden demanded over the week-end that the “civilized nations” prevent the Jewish community of Palestine from being converted into “a defenseless people.” Copies of resolutions adopted at the rallies were sent to the American and British ambassadors.

The meetings, which were addressed by Mr. Valentine, chairman of the Scandinavian Zionist Organization, Chief Rabbi Marcus Ehrenpreis of Sweden and other prominent members of the Jewish community, sent a message to Palestine Jewry expressing their support.
