Between 4,000 and 5,000 Polish Jews are arriving in Germany monthly, M.R. Blass, a delegate of the ORT Union who just returned from a tour of Germany, told a meeting of the executive of the French ORT.
Blass reported that the influx of refugees has forced the authorities to expend displaced persons camps. He cited the example of the Eschwage camp which last month housed 800 persons and is now sheltering 2,600 with the expectation of a population of 4,600 in the near future.
