The question of racial discrimination, as well as migration prospects, will be considered by the Permanent Migration Committee of the International Labor Organization, which is scheduled to begin a six-day meeting here on August 26. More than ten nations will be represented, it was announced today.
The committee has been requested by the governing body of the ILO to consider also the forms of international cooperation capable of facilitating an organized resumption of immigration movements. The United Nations, the Inter-Governmental Committee of Refugees, UNRRA and the Food and Agricultural Organization, have been invited to be represented by advisory members.
