Hungarian Jewish Cultural Group Presents Art Exhibition of Works of Jews Killed by Nazis

The Cultural Association of Hungarian Jews is presenting an art exhibition here of the works of 16 prominent Jewish artists who were killed or are listed as missing since the Nazi occupation of the country.

The exhibition, which features painting and sculpture, has been supported by a number of government officials including Minister of Education Dezso Keresztury who attended its opening and purchased several works for the state. In addition a radio program was presented from the art gallery where the showing is being held, describing some of the pieces and details of the artists’ lives.
