Jewish Leaders Confer with Rumanian Ministers in Paris on Protection of Rights

Six Rumanian cabinet ministers, members of the Rumanian delegation at the Peace Conference, met here with Dr. Nahum Goldman and A.L. Easterman, leaders of the World Jewish Congress, and agreed to work out jointly texts of Rumanian laws to enforce special provisions in the Rumanian peace treaty for the protection of Jewish rights, it was reported here today.

It was also reported that Dr. Goldmann and Easterman met with Andrei Vishinsky, Soviet Deputy Foreign Minister, regarding the proposed Jewish amendments to the drafts of the peace treaties no wonder consideration by the Peace Conference.

The meeting with the Rumanian statesmen was held at the Rumanian Legation under the chairmanship of Cheorghe Tatarescu, Vice-Premier and Foreign Minister, who said that his government was determined to eradicate anti-Semitism in the country.
