A spokesman for the Allied Control Commission today promised to investigate the rejection of an application for permission to publish a Zionist magazine. He explained that several Jewish publications were already being issued and the council did not wish to allow a disproportionate number of Jewish newspapers or magazines to appear because of the prevalent anti-Semitism.
