In order to avoid a bitter election campaign, which might have led to disturbances, especially in the DP camps, the seven Zionist parties here have agreed on division of the four seats to which Italy is entitled on the basis of the number of Shekels sold. The Hashomer Hazair, General Zionists “B,” Poale Zionists, Zionist Youth, Mizrachi, Revisionists and Italian Zionist Federation will divide the seats among themselves.
