Isaac L. Asofsky, executive director of HIAS, arrived here for discussions with the Czech Government and foreign legations concerning HIAS emigration plans.
Asofsky revealed that HIAS wished to assist emigration of Jewish refugees from Eastern Europe to South America and Australia, and hopes also for their admission to the United States above the regular quota.
