Army authorities have agreed to cooperate with the Joint Distribution Committee in supplementing the recreation facilities available in the camps for displaced Jews.
The JDC has mapped a program consisting of printing large quantities of Jewish literature, providing mobile motion picture units showing American and Yiddish films and travelling concert artists and lecturers drawn from abroad and the ranks of the DP’s.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
