The committee is refraining from making an official announcement of its acceptance at the request of Gurney, who first wishes to convey its reply, together with the names of the Committee’s delegation to Colonial Minister Arthur Creech-Jones.

It is reported that the Arab delegates will be Jamal Huseini, vice-chairman of the Committee and its actual head in the enforced absence from the country of the ex-Mufti, Dr.Hussein Khalidi, the Committee’s secretary, and Emil Ghori, a member of the executive and secretary of the Palestine Arab Party.
