Mayor Israel Rokach today reported to the Tel Aviv municipal council that he has protested to the government against the wounding of many Tel Aviv residents by soldiers and the indiscriminate searches of homes during which valuables were looted.
Several members of the council testified to the brutelity displayed by the troops and to the losses Jews had suffered as a result of wanton damage and robbery.
