Adolf Eher, a German resident of the town of Lank, was sentenced to death by the Lodz district court for organizing the deportation and the liquidation of the Jewish population of Lash during the Nazi occupation.
Upon the entrance of the German army into Lask, Eher was appointed mayor of the town. At his trial he was also charged with appropriating Jewish property valued at hundreds of thousands of dollars.
