A campaign to elect Dr. Chaim Weizmann president of the World Zionist Organization at the May meeting of the Zionist Actions Committee in New York was decided on tonight by the central committee of the left-wing Eashemer Hazair.
The group will seek to form a united front of all Zionist labor parties to effect Weizmann’s election and to place representatives of all the labor factions on the executive. It will also seek united labor action to combat terrorism, and to draft a common plan of work to be followed at the U.N. session.
