An announcement that Dr. Emanuel Neumann will run for the presidency of the Zionist Organization of America, coupled with an appeal for his election, was made here last night by Dr. Abba Hillel Silver, present ZOA president, addressing a meeting of Zionist district leaders at the Park Central Hotel.
Dr. Silver and Dr. Neumann gave the meeting a political analysis of the proceedings of the U.N. special session on Palestine and indicated the line which will be followed before the inquiry commission which has been appointed. Daniel Frisch, chairman of the ZOA administrative committee, presided.
