The Jewish Central Committee of Germany today voted to petition the United Nations inquiry committee on Palestine to come to Germany to hold public hearings during the course of its investigations.

A cable which was sent to the commission pointed out that the displaced Jews were directly affected, since the majority of them desire to immigrate to Palestine. It urged that the probers “enable the DP’s to present directly the views and aspirations of the surviving remnants of liberated Jewry.”
