The first harvest festival of Jewish farmers who have been resettled in Lower Silesia since the end of the war will be held in Rybach on August 1.

The Central Jewish Committee and the ORT have provided tractors and other agricultural equipment to assist the 255 farming families in the region to bring in the harvest. Jewish agriculturists occupy more than 4,000 acres of land in the Rybach district.

An announcement today said that for the first time since the liberation of Poland, a delegation of Jewish youth has left to participate in an international conference. They are among the Polish delegates to the World Youth Conference in Prague.
