Local Groups in Germany, India, Congo and Cyrenaica Join World Jewish Congress

The Central Committee of Liberated Jews in the British zone of Germany, the Jewish Association of Calcutta, and the Jewish communities of the Belgian Congo and of Cyrenaica have joined the World Jewish Congress, it was announced here today by Dr. Ignacy Schwarzbart, head of the organization department of the Congress. This brings the number of countries where the Congress has affiliated local groups to 59, the announcement said.
