The Executive Council of Australian Jewry, which is equivalent here to the Board of Deputies of British Jews in England, today cabled an appeal to the Secretary of State for Commonwealth Relations in London urging that the 4,400 Exodus Jews be allowed to enter Palestine.

Protest meetings to express solidarity with the Exodus refugees arranged by local Zionists were held this week throughout the Dominion.
