Miss Lazarus, who was a hercine of the French resistance during the German occupation, and her companion were believed implicated in the sending of letter-bombs to prominent Pritons. Both are reportedly members of the Irgun or Stern Group.

Four young displaced Jews were committed for trial yesterday by a British military court in Hanover on charges of being implicated in the attempted bombing of a British military train near Hanover, in July. An explosive charge was found on the tracks a half-hour before the train was due to pass.
