A Peoples Court in Banska-Bystrica, in Slovakia, ## sentenced Alexander Lichtneker and Stepan Toth, both 21, to 20 years imprison?t for betraying 41 Jews to the Gostapo, of whom 11 were shot.
The two, who were members of the Hlinka Guard, Slovak storm-troop organization, also were charged with participating in mass executions of Jews. Their sen?es were termed “extremely mild” by Jewish circles here.
