A three-man delegation representing the Greater ### Jewish Federation left here this morning on the first leg of a five-week tour of Jewish communities in Europe and Palestine.

The group, which will survey the position and the needs of the hundreds of theusands of Jews in Palestine and various countries of Europe, consists of Mrs. Nonte Selig, secretary of the Miami federation and a member of the national boards of the United Jewish Appeal, United Service for New Americans and the National Council of Jewish Women; Rabbi Irving Lehrman, of the Miami Beach Jewish Community Center;and Mr. Max Orovitz, honorary president of the Miami Federation.

The delegation, which is the second to be sent by an American Jewish community to make an on-the-spot study — the first was sent by the Chicago Jewish community earlier this year — will leave New York by air for Europe on Wednesday.
