Violence Doubts Extensive Violence Will Follow British Withdrawal from Palestine

Doubt that there would be extensive violence in Palestine following a British withdrawal was expressed here today by Henry A. Wallace ## his return from Palestine. He said that he believed that Britain really intended to leave the country, since it was not in a position to bear the financial burdens in##.

The former vice-president told questioners that tension in Palestine was not as ## as might, be assumed from the reports coming out of the country. He added that its highly placed Arabs follow the line of the Arab League, the effect of the ## influence is evident only among the wealthier Arabs.
