A government spokesman stated tonight that while the government opposes the early arrival of the U.N. Implementation Commission, it hopes that the commission’s staff, including Dr. Ralph Bunche and his assistants, will arrive in Palestine soon to facilitate the transfer of authority to the Com-mission.

Meanwhile it was learned here that the Commission is not expected for at least two months since the British insist on discussing the transfer of authority while the Commission is still at Lake Success.
