Operation of three camps for displaced Jews was ?umed this week by the Preparatory Commission of the International Refugee Organization. The camps are located at Steyr, Wels and Wegscheid near Linz.
Six camps for displaced Jews in Vienna, sheltering 3,773 persons, are administered by the Joint Distribution Committee. In addition, the J.D.C is also ?ndering aid to many of the 8,600 Jews who are members of the Vienna Jewish Community, constituting all that was left of the 240,000 Jews who lived in Vienna before ## Nazi annexation of Austria.
