German Official Demands German Police Be Allowed to Enter Dp Camps to Make Arrests

Bavarian Minister of Justice Josef Muellers issued a statement today demanding that German police be given, the right to enter displaced persons camps in order to make arrests.

A conference of 13 Jewish chaplains stationed in the U.S. zone of Germany and Austria concluded today in Frankfurt. Dr. William Heber, advisor on Jewish affairs to the U.S. Army, and hit assistant, Major Abraham Hyman, participated in the parley, The chaplains discussed arrangement for conducting Passover services for Jewish troops and Jewish DP’s in the American area.
