Replying to last week’s criticism in the National Assembly of the French Government’s pro-partition vote on Palestine in the U.N. General Assembly, Foreign Minister Georges Bidault told the National Assembly last night: “France Judges causes not according to her own interests, but mainly according to the inherent justice in each case.”

Following Bidault’s statement, Socialist Deputy M. Lapie expressed approval of the Foreign Minister’s declaration, describing it as a “policy of Justice, and by no means designed to sacrifice the Arabs.”
