Haganah Successes Demoralizing Arabs, So. African Zionist Reports on Return from Palestine

Haganah successes in Palestine are demoralizing the Arabs and will have a direct influence on the United Nations, Bernard Gering, chairman of the Zionist Federation here, reported today following his return from the sessions of the Zionist Actions Committee in Tel Aviv. Gering said the Jewish community of Palestine is “resolutely behind the declaration of independence. The Jewish state will be proclaimed the day after the Mandate ends, regardless of what happens at Lake Success,” he said.
