The American OBT Federation announced today the formation of an association in Tel Aviv which will supply machinery and tools to artisans and collective workshops in Israel.
Assurance that the ORT will “devote all its resources to the noble work of building a prosperous democratic society “based on the fullest development of a self-supporting and skilled labor force,” was given today in a message of greetings sent to Dr. Chaim Weizmann, President of Israel, by George Backer, president of the American ORT Federation and the World ORT Union.
