Memorial meetings honoring the thousands of Hungarian Jews who were executed by the Germans during the war were held in various communities throughout the country this week.
A large-sized replica of the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem was unveiled in the town of Zala, while in Pocs a statue depicting Jewish martyrs of the late war was dedicated in the presence of high government officials.
