Sos Drive Collected over 6,500.000 Pounds of Supplies During First Half of 1948

More than 6,561,000 pounds of foodstuffs, clothing, medical supplies and other relief materials were contributed to the SOS (Supplies for Overseas Survivors) collection of the Joint Distribution Committee during the first half of this year, it was announced her today by Mrs. Isaac Gilman, national co-chairman of the drive.
