British Government to Pay $2,000,000 to Arab Legion Because of Present Palestine Truce

The British Government has decided to pay a $2,000,000 installment due on its subsidy to the Arab Logion, a Foreign Office spokes-man said today. He explained that the action was taken “because of the present truce in Palestine, The payment, which is used for arming and equipping the Transjordan lesion, ties due two weeks ago.
