William Dudley Pelley, former leader of the anti-Jewish Silver Shirts, yesterday lost a new plea to win freedom from imprisonment when Federal Judge Walter C. Lindley turned down a request for a writ of habeas corpus requested on technical grounds. Pelley was sentenced to 15 years on sedition charges in 1942.
